33 Toronto - Saint Patrick's Roman Catholic church

Image
Connected to the cult of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, as they used to say when I was young (though the expression has been modernized to Our Lady of Perpetual Help - see here  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Our_Lady_of_Perpetual_Help ). The Lady in question is a cool gal who always gives you a hand, and is portrayed in a religious icon image which some say was painted by Saint Luke! The church is run by redemptorists, and is also the place to go in Toronto if you want to hear mass in German! I liked the solid lectern, and the modern holy water basin. And just opposite the church, there is a bar named "Sin and Redemption", which I thought was pretty good fun. Information in English
